Richard C. Harney
Senior Vice President, Marketing
Mr. Harney has over 35 years of experience in all elements of business-to-business multi-channel marketing, from creative development and brand strategy to quantitative database analysis and customer scoring, including leadership stints at divisions of Deluxe, Lands’ End and W.W. Grainger. He has significant expertise in turn-around situations in mid-tier organizations, either establishing sound marketing practices from scratch or revitalizing existing processes to improve their effectiveness. He joined School Specialty in July, 2013 as a divisional Vice President of Marketing and became Senior Vice President of all corporate marketing in January of 2015. He has a B.A. from Michigan State University where he was the 1978 graduate of the year from the School of Advertising.
